1. Booking & Confirmation
A booking is confirmed only when we send a written confirmation and receive the required advance payment . All bookings are subject to availability.
2. Payments
Advance Payment: An advance payment (typically 20%-50% of the total package cost, depending on the hotel category) is required to secure your booking .
Balance Payment: The remaining amount is due upon arrival in Kashmir or before departure as per your itinerary .
Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR). We reserve the right to adjust prices due to government tax changes .
3. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellation charges apply based on the time of cancellation:
30+ days before travel: 10% cancellation charge .
15-29 days before travel: 25%-50% cancellation charge .
7-14 days before travel: 50%-75% cancellation charge .
Less than 7 days or No-show: 100% cancellation charge (No refund) .
Refunds are processed within 7-15 working days via the original payment method .
4. Travel Documents
It is your responsibility to carry valid photo ID (Aadhaar, Passport, Driving License) and necessary permits (for restricted areas) . Basivia is not liable for denial of service due to incomplete documentation.
5. Health, Safety & Insurance
You must inform us of any medical conditions. We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and baggage loss .
6. Liabilities & Force Majeure
Third-Party Providers: We arrange services through independent third parties (hotels, transport). We are not liable for their acts, omissions, or negligence .
Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays, cancellations, or losses caused by events beyond our control (natural disasters, strikes, weather, government restrictions) .
7. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir .
